Here is a selection of photos from last Sunday’s Easter Parade in NYC. Several blocks of Fifth Avenue around St. Patrick’s Cathedral are closed to traffic. It was a beautiful day and folks of all kinds came out to see and be seen. Bonnets, imagination, creativity, good feelings, and zaniness abound!! These photos are part of a series called PARTY PARADE PORTRAITS which I started after 9-11 and includes the St. Patrick’s, Mermaid, Halloween, and Gay Pride parades. The series is ultimately in black and white and portraits, but this parade is all about costume and color so I’m going with both!! The parade is a hoot!! Hope you enjoy the pix.
